Ok, I am new to this but feel a need to make myself accountable.  I turn 45 this year and it is hitting me pretty hard.  Unaccountable weight gain, hot flashes and just got progressive lenses for my glasses.  So, with all that said, I have to start looking for more ways to compensate for that misery.  I hate New Years resolutions but here I go.   I hit the scales this morning at 136 and that is overweight for 5'0 female.  My goal:  Loose 21 pounds by 3/31/2011. 
My 2nd goal is to become closer to my Lord and Savior and let HIM lead my life.  I received a Wisdom for Women devo/journal and I resolve to do this everyday and improve my prayer life.
I feel like I got off to a good start this morning.  I had 2 whole wheat pancakes w/1 tsp. Smart Balance, 1 T. Syrup, 2 slices turkey bacon, coffee w/1 T. creamer for a total of:  337 calories.
I also resolve to be a better friend and supporter of my husband, who as of today is stopping smoking, and to be a better example and friend to my 2 wondeful children.

My calorie count for the day: 1222 and I ate pretty good!.. I went to Lifeway today and took advantage of their New Years Day sale and got a religious excercise dvd. Walk the Walk!!! Love it! Oh, and while I was there I got a Love Dare journal for $3.50 and I am going to give it a whirl!! Can't hurt. Here's to day #1.
